4 days Queen Elizabeth & Lake Mburo

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park

Early this morning you will have your lovely breakfast, and by 6:00 am you will transfer from Kampala or Entebbe and head to Queen Elizabeth national park , you will cross the equator in the Kasese district then arrive in for lunch at your new home lodge for two nights. After lunch you will go for a boat ride on Kazinga channel cruising towards lake Edward you will be looking for a school of hippos, water bucks, Uganda kobs, elephants and buffaloes coming down the beach to drink water, hippos will be swimming and playing in water, there is also many different species of birds including kingfishers, pelicans, herons, fish eagles, palm nut vultures and many more. After the boat ride we will have a short game drive as you go back to your lodge.
Mid range accommodation: Marafiki lodge.

Travel time: 6 hours drive.
Activity: Road trip & Boat cruise on Kazinga channel

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking & Game Drive

Early this morning you will have your lovely breakfast, and by 6:30 am you will go for chimpanzee trekking to look
for chimps in Kalinzu forest, the walk for 3 hours takes you to look chimps and also other different spies of monkeys including the black and white colobus, red-tailed monkeys, if you are a bird lover then you have come to the right place. It is usual to spot three to four different primate species during this walk.
In the late evening you will have another game drive to look for mammals that include gazelle, Uganda kob, warthog and water buck. Be prepared for huge numbers of hippo and elephant, and keep your eyes peeled for a leopard lazing in the sunshine, the game drive will last for four hours and later come back for lunch at the lodge and get prepared for you boat ride on the Kazinga channel.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo n.p- game drive

After breakfast, you will continue your journey to Lake Mburo National Park which is one of Uganda’s smallest parks, but certainly not to be underestimated. It is the only Ugandan national park (besides to Kidepo Valley NP) which is home to zebra, eland and impala, as well as an abundance of other wildlife. The lake itself is full with hippos and crocodiles! You will stay just outside the park boundaries, but it will feel like being in the middle of the park. From your verandah and restaurant you have a great view over the park and its wildlife.

Meal plan: Breakfast, lunch & dinner.
Travel time: 4 Hours
Activity: Game drive.

Day 4: Boat Ride on Lake Mburo – Airport Transfer

This morning you will have a boat ride on Lake Mburo, where you will see lots hippos playing and resting in water, thus seeing other animals, like impala, buffalo, and warthogs coming to drink water. Later after the boat ride you will head back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will head straight to the airport for you flight back home.
Accommodation: Not included.
Meal plan: Breakfast & lunch .
Travel time: 5 hours.
Activity: Morning Boat ride & Afternoon road trip to Airport or Kampala
