According to many of our previous guests ,one of our best trips, a Bike Adventure of EPIC proportions , vistas and encounters.
We will follow an absolutely unique and adventurous route through this Berber heartland, over single tracks and following the ancient caravan routes that wind through spectacular landscapes, plateaus and valleys.
Our unique approach to this adventure
All stages can be ridden at your own pace using GPS (the devices are provided). Or we can upload the trail GPX file on your own GPS
We love our trail riding to be frustration free! So there is no trying to keep up or waiting for the group

The rest of the remaining day we will assemble and test drive the bikes for the start of our desert adventure the next day.
Transfer to the plateau of the Anti-Atlas.
The trip starts at 1900m altitude. Single tracks and winding trails take us to the edge of a huge canyon.
That ’s where we pick up an old caravan route. The rest of the stage is on a deep/ canyon floor, with fun rocky single tracks.
A cozy bivouac between the date palms , millions of stars a campfire and some more super sweet mint tea.
We start the day up on the plateau where a winding trail takes us down back into the canyon.
We cycle along a caravan routes and pass by deserted villages.
We finish the day on a rough canyon floor trail where choosing the right track often is quite a challenge.
Overnight at the same bivouac and you guessed it….more mint tea.
We cycle cross-country over a wide canyon bed to the beginning of an old mountain trail, where we have to carry our bikes up. The higher up we get, the trail becomes more rideable.
Amazing views of the surrounding canyons.
Picnic at the first village and than down a rough single track descent towards Tafraout – you’ll feel like you’re in Utah.
Overnight in a hotel near the lively village of Tafraout.
A loop stage today around Tafraout along the villages in the area also the main ridge of the Anti-Atlas mountains. Lots of single tracks and a bit of hike-a-bike to the last beautiful descent of the day.
Overnight back in the same hotel.
The stage along the “blue stones” and then over a mixture of old slopes and rough singletracks undulating up and down to the edge of a huge canyon.
Our bivouac for the night is halfway the descent, on a small plateau right on the edge, spec-ta-cu-lair…
As soon as we started the rocky trail comes to a dead end in a gorge ,there is a sleepy village where
time stood still.
For the next hours we bike the canyon floor with sometimes a short hike-a-bike , sometimes scrambling.
There is no trail here.
The canyon walls are vertical and hundreds of feet/meters high.
Where the canyon widens, the trail becomes smoother .We are biking on an old caravan route. The trail takes us through gardens and mesmerizing green oases where we will bivouac for the evening.
On this stage we are cycling along the edge of the Western Sahara… and we will hopefully encounter herds of camels at wide open valley.
Halfway in you have the choice, keep going on the same path over the valley floor.
Or start to climb to a rocky 9mi/14km long single track with a spectacular end … impressive views of “agadir”, the Berber name for a fortified storage shed, which we will off course visit.
Overnight in a small hotel in Amtoudi, at the foot of the agadir(fortified shed)
Transfer to a plateau high above Tafraout and then a mix of trails and very fun single track down the low laying ridges of Tafraout, the last 22mi /35 km are fabulous and bring us to the end of this superb week!
Overnight in hotel and packing down the bikes
Transfer to Agadir airport
